Welcome letter

Dear Elector
It was a real honour to have been asked to stand in this election in place of the late Bruce Farthing. Bruce was a tremendous representative of the City and particularly of the shipping industry and he will be sorely missed. If elected, I hope that my experience in the marine market will allow me to carry on his work.

My family have had business connections in the Ward of Aldgate since the eighteenth century and I have worked here for the last twenty-five years as an accountant, company secretary and compliance specialist in the Lloyd’s insurance market.

To my mind the insurance and shipping industries, along with the professional firms that support them, still represent what is best about the City of London and, as an elected member of the City Corporation, I will do everything I can to promote and assist their ongoing development.

I look forward to meeting you over the coming weeks. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

With best regards,

Jamie Ingham Clark
